About Us

The Directorate for Advanced Studies has the general objective of coordinating the organization, development, and promotion of research and postgraduate studies, as well as planning and coordinating the creation of new advanced study plans and programs and controlling and supervising their academic evaluation.

Contributes to the creation, maintenance, updating, or phrasing out of master’s curricula to support the initial training of researchers capable of conducting humanistic and scientific research, as well as technological development, by applying scientific knowledge to address the challenges and needs of their environment.

Coordinates the creation, maintenance, updating, or phrasing out of specialization curricula to contribute to the training of highly specialized professionals. These programs enable students to deepen and develop skills tailored to the specific requirements of a given occupational field and update their knowledge for improved professional practice, applying scientific knowledge to address the challenges and needs of their environment.

Coordinates the creation, maintenance, updating, or phrasing out of advanced graduate diploma curricula to expand, renew, and modernize the knowledge of professionals in specific disciplines. These programs apply current and specialized knowledge to enhance professional practice while addressing the challenges and needs of their environment. This department also supports credit transfers, the registration of thesis protocols, and the validation of advanced studies as a degree completion option.
