Aims to organize, coordinate, and enhance events that inspire scientific vocations and strengthen the culture of science within the university community.
- Planning and organization of events and activities for the Secretariat of Sciences (congresses, seminars, exhibitions, ceremonies, etc.) across various fields such as health, social sciences, medicine, sciences, and humanities.
- Logistical coordination of in-person, virtual, and hybrid activities.
- Support for the various directorates and departments in the execution of their activities.
- Design of vocational guidance programs in science and technology aimed at high school students, undergraduate/graduate students, and the general public.
- Logistical support for Academic Spaces upon request for the realization of academic-scientific events.
- Organization and logistics of initiatives such as postgraduate fairs, International Day of Women and Girls in Science, SNII recognition ceremonies, and COMECYT beneficiary exhibitions focused on researchers.
- Establishment of links with high schools, facilitating visits, activities, and workshops that promote scientific careers.
- Coordination of the participation of researchers, students, and outreach professionals as speakers in science events and fairs.
Organization of the Master’s and Doctoral Degree Investiture Ceremony, celebrating the graduates of UAEMéx.
- First, the invitation for participation in the Master’s and Doctoral Degree Investiture Ceremony is issued.
- Graduates of UAEMéx Master’s and Doctoral programs who have not previously participated in an investiture ceremony for the same degree may participate, once they previously register their information and submit the required documentation within the dates specified in the invitation.
- To participate in the ceremony, interested parties must complete the institutional regalia rental process (mozzeta, gown, and mortarboard) at the University Store [Translator’s Note: Tienda Universitaria in Spanish].
- Furthermore, participants must remain attentive to the logistical instructions communicated to them in a timely manner.
- Participants must arrive at the date, time and location established by the Secretariat of Science logistics team for their attendance at the ceremony.
