About Us
The Directorate for Research Management and Advanced Studies Its main objective is to manage funding for research projects and to define and monitor mechanisms and action lines to ensure the efficient, effective, and transparent administration of resources allocated to research and advanced studies.
Departments
The UAEM-Founded Project Oversight Department is responsible for the administration and monitoring of the resources allocated to research projects. This includes calls for proposals for Research Projects for Social Transformation, Sciences, Humanities, Technologies and Innovation, Partnerships with the Productive Sector, and authorized special projects. Its primary activities involve preparing purchase requisitions for goods and services, conducting market research, issuing expenditure policies for accountable funds, processing reimbursements, managing fuel requests for projects, and finalizing expense reports.
The Externally Project Oversight Department is responsible for the administration and monitoring of funds allocated to research projects authorized by various funding sources, such as COMECYT and SECIHTI. Its primary activities involve preparing purchase requisitions for goods and services, conducting market research, issuing expenditure policies for accountable funds, processing reimbursements, managing fuel requests for projects, and finalizing expense reports.
