About Us
The general objective of the Directorate for Public Knowledge Goods is to coordinate actions so that the results of scientific, humanistic and technological research derive into public goods based on the paradigm of open science, and to guarantee open access to the information derived from research, as well as to promote a humanistic, scientific and technological culture. through the spread, dissemination and social impact of the results and advances of research and graduate studies.
Departments
To strengthen the quality, spread and visibility of the UAEMÉX's scientific publications in open access, as well as to promote the creation and consolidation of new scientific journals that project the knowledge generated in the institution.
To promote the development, innovation and maintenance of open technological infrastructures that facilitate the production, management, preservation and circulation of scientific, academic and cultural knowledge of the UAEMÉX as a public good.
To guarantee that the scientific production generated at the UAEMÉX is registered, preserved, spread and reused in an open manner, through the strategic use of information technologies.
To promote the spread of advances in scientific and literary knowledge through the publication of open scientific electronic books, ensuring compliance with the editorial, technical and interoperability quality standards necessary to promote their visibility, discoverability and preservation.
