Services for Program Coordinators

The services provided to program coordinators by the Evaluation of Research and Directorate for Advanced Studies includes support, guidance, and advisory throughout processes such as:

Modification of Program Coordinators in the SECIHTI Platform (Specialization, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs)

To carry out the process of changing program coordinators before SECIHTI, Form No. 2 of the aforementioned Secretariat must be completed. This form must include the following information:

Full name of the program and reference number
Full name of the coordinator ,
Highest academic degree ,
CVU number ,
Phone number ,
Institutional email and alternate email, duly signed by the Director of the Directorate for Research Evaluation and Advanced Studies (DEIEA).

Enrollment Registration

This process is carried out by the program coordinator in accordance with the SECIHTI call.

Use and Management of the SECIHTI Platform

Keeping the SECIHTI platform up to date is a best practice to ensure compliance with the criteria established by the National System of Graduate Studies and to maintain the registration of advanced studies programs with the corresponding authority.

Use and Management of Alternative Evaluation Platforms (e.g., SEAES)

To carry out evaluations regulated by the General Law of Higher Education (LGES, 2019), such as the SEAES evaluation, a platform was developed by the UAEMéx. This system was completed by the coordinator of each Advanced Studies program (Specialization, Master’s, and Doctoral programs).

Coordination with the Relevant Authority for Departmental Emails and Microsites

Ongoing efforts to systematize processes that define and strengthen graduate programs—supporting their academic and social development—have led to coordination with the appropriate institutional bodies. In this case, theInformation Technologies Directorate (DTIC) at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMéx) provides support for the technological services required to ensure the presence and visibility of Advanced Studies programs in a global context.
